My new project require incredible much time, the most of you know this already, but thanks to my new toy (iPod Touch) I’m able to surf between the nurse times 
So I found some useful php classes to show a progress on upload and process. As you have noticed the upload and the thumbnail generating require a lot of time without any feedback. Thanks to the ProgressBar PHP Class from David Bongard and the CSS Loading bar from Phillip Berndt I created a new progress bar to give a little bit better feedback.
Next step is the integration of the SWFUpload to show the progress during you upload a large zip-file or a lot of images.
Can’t wait for the this to be delivered to us.
